コンディションも素晴らしく、ほとんど使用感を感じさせません。横板に小さな割れがあった部分も、修復の痕跡を全く感じさせない高度な修理が施されています。長い年月を経た今なお、コレクション・演奏の双方で極上の価値を持つ、まさに別格の一本です。

A truly exceptional guitar built in 1971 by Hernández y Aguado, the legendary master makers who continue to reign at the pinnacle of the classical guitar world.

With an overwhelming presence and a uniquely rich, complex tone, this instrument offers a sound of rare distinction. Its voice combines a gentle transparency with profound depth and a powerful core, fully embodying the noble character expected of a true legendary masterpiece.

The minute discrepancies in fret and bridge positioning—sometimes noted in instruments from the original period—have been flawlessly corrected through the outstanding repair work of Kuniyoshi Matsui, resulting in ideal and precise intonation. The frets have been replaced with high-precision Jescar #50078 wire (1.27 mm height), delivering exceptional playability and responsiveness. In addition, Media-Calm’s proprietary scale-length compensation theory has been applied, achieving astonishing pitch accuracy across the entire fingerboard. An Aguado with such uncompromising intonation is an extremely rare presence in the world today.

The condition is equally remarkable, showing virtually no signs of use. A small crack once present on the side has been restored with such masterful skill that no trace of repair can be detected. Even after many decades, this instrument remains of the highest value both as a collector’s piece and as a concert guitar—truly in a class of its own.
